During my vacations, I took few days to visit the Gaspesie.
I went from Rimouski to Gaspe. I captured some interesting pictures all the way.
Here you'll see landscapes and particular attractions located on the northern side of the Gaspesie.
As a beginning, I'd like to introduce you the landscapes of the Gaspesian coast. Most often the road winds along the bottom of the mountains (the Chics-Chocs). As you'll see, the escarpments are very steep at some places.
Near the cities of Matane and Cap-Chat, you may catch the sight of windmills. From far, they look small with respect to the surrounding landscape, but some pieces give a real idea of their impressive dimensions.
At the edge of the gaspesian peninsula is the Forillon national park.

Everywhere in the park, the visitors are entitled to magnificient sight-seeings over maritime and montaneous landscapes.
On the south side of the park is the city of Gaspe.
At La Martre, some statuettes made with stones (small Inoukchouks) strew along the road.
Here are other pictures I took on my way back.
Good bye, and see you soon!
