In this last day of our visit in NY, we planned to the general headquarters of the UN.
The UN is located on the East side of Manhattan. Surprisingly, a taxi ride from West to East just cost 5$! We got there early in the morning in order to benifit from the rest of the day to walk it back slowly.

Two buildings: the Office of Military Advisor and the UN headquarters. One facing the other. One from the '50s and the other from the ?s. One is austaire, the other is avant-garde. Such two solitudes.

An interesting thing: In the main hall is suspended a Foucault pendulum.
Still today, I kept a small green ticket in souvenir of this visite.
