My journey in France...

The sights

Auberge Sur-le-lac (On-the-lake Inn), May 26th 2000. I've been invited to a roasted-pig party, organized by the company.

The Auberge sur le lac is located to West of Chartres, at about 10 km, on the way to Bréal-sous-Montfort.

I probably stopped every 100m for consulting my roadmap, took the wrong direction 4 times, and looked at my compass (outside of the car!) at least 10 times... (see my summary about the roads in France).

After 45 min. of driving, I had to attach my hat because there was one of those winds, to unhorn a beef. You can mostly feel it just by looking at the tilted trees on the first picture...

Those who say there are a lot of castles in France can note that there are of any kind also.

About one and a half hour later, the wind began to blur down. The organizers then blew the castle up and the kids did let go their energy on it.

We got served a roasted pig (that I did not dare to take in picture due to sensitive souls). Anyway, it was a good one! The place was plenty of people, food and, of coarse, wine...

The party ended at around midnight and I had to go back to the appartment in total black out. But I must admit I have a quite good memory to retrieve my way.

It took me only 10 min. I can say that some rings can be taken in straight line quite easily...
